~*New Beginnings*~

Assalaamu Alaikum :)

Moving

About a couple of weeks ago (maybe a little more?) we found a house that we all really liked, alhamdulillah. Yes, even I approved of the house! The layout is just what my family was looking for and it's just so beautiful from the inside. As soon as my mother and I stepped in the house for the very first time to see it, we were overcome with a serene feeling ... it was amazing. So, we bought it! Yay for us! But we're moving very soon ... near the end of September, which means, during Ramadan ... eep! It's okay, it's better than the previous moving date we were going for which was the 7th of September. I think that was stressing everyone out because there is so much to be done in this house ... we've been here forever! There's a lot of things (mainly junk) that we need to sort out and get rid of. But alhamdulillah, now we finally have some more time and insha'Allah we'll be able to move in nicely .... *sigh* Yes, I'm still kinda depressed and very sad that I'm leaving this house but this new one will bring us much more better things, I can feel it!

Engaged

*gasp* It's true! haha Alhamdulillah :)

Little Squeeky is finally engaged ... and on top of that, to a Yorkie dorkie! haha But alhamdulillah, patience really is the key and without expectation, he came into my life and literally changed it for the better. Oh gosh, so I'm guessing it's time to start planning! I don't even know where to begin!

Here's the cake I made for him when he came over. It's called "Brownie Bottomed Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Cheesecake" ... boy, I never prayed so much for a cake to turn out good haha

Please remember us in your du'as ... may Allah Swt accept your sincere and kind prayers ... jazaakAllahu khairaa!

oh I didn't realize there were more comments here! Thank you so much :) And yes, from what I know he enjoyed it hehe His mom loooved it! And "yorkie dorkie" is a term used for people who went to York U :) My degree was English Lit and I had a lot of experience with children (interactions in the classroom, tutoring, babysitting, anything!). Should always work towards gaining more experience with children!
Asmaa:
