Name That Plant

Assalaamu Alaikum :)

For the plant lovers out there ... seen one of these?

I think it is simply beautiful ... subhana'Allah. These grow in my aunt's backyard. She noticed them a few years ago ... a neighbor of hers must have planted them. The plant does not grow like this. I believe it is a green plant with these types of leaves, only the treasure lies within it. You would have to tear away the outer layer after drying the plant to find those pearly leaves.

I love it. I just don't know what it is called :( So if anyone has ever heard of this or seen them or even have them in their own backyard ... do help me out :D

Hello!

I hit 'next blog' and arrived at your page!

And it's a funny thing that I did...

I'm in London, but on the metro today I read about a fun/funny thing coming up in Toronto. In fact, I had just blogged about it today, and right after I did, I asked my husband, 'Do we know anyone in Toronto?' Then, boom! I'm on your page. Cool! Check out my page for details.

Here's another splendid coincidence... I'm a former florist, and I do happen to know the name of your mystery plant. I hope that knowing it will only serve to increase its allure for you. The plant's commonly called 'honesty,'and you are right... it is lovely!

Have a wonderful day!
